Narendra Modi will go on a two-day (13–14 November) visit to Brasilia, Brazil to attend the 11th BRICS Summit. The theme of this 11th summit is 'Economic Growth for an Innovative Future'. The BRICS include Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
Secretary (Economic Relations) in the Ministry of External Affairs, TS Trimurti told reporters that Prime Minister Modi is participating in BRICS for the sixth time. He will be accompanied by an official delegation. A large business delegation from India is going to participate in the BRICS Business Forum there.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in bilateral meetings on 13 November. He will participate in the closing ceremony of the BRICS Trade Forum along with leaders from four other countries.
On 14 November, the leaders will participate in a restricted session.
"We hope that the discussion will focus on the opportunities and challenge of national sovereignty in the contemporary world," Trimurti said.
