Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Brazil on 13–14 November to attend the BRICS conference, where the issues of trade, investment and terrorism are expected to be at the center of the negotiations. During his visit to Brazil, Modi will also hold a bilateral meeting with President of Brazil, Zaire Bolsonaro. TS Thirumurthy, Secretary of Economic Relations in the Ministry of External Affairs, told that Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Brasilia on 13 November to attend the 11th BRICS Conference.
This time the theme of the conference has been kept as 'Economic Development for Innovative Future'. BRICS is an organization of five countries which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Modi will hold a bilateral meeting during the day and in the evening, other BRICS leaders will attend the closing ceremony of the BRICS Trade Forum.

After this, the Prime Minister will attend the reception and photo session after which President will participate in a dinner hosted by Bolsonaro in honor of the leaders.
